Our instructors are not
only professionally qualified to teach you how to
cast, but can offer professional advice on all
aspects of trout and salmon angling, ranging from
equipment selection, clothing, venues and statutory
information.

instructor, being a holder of both the STANIC
(Salmon and Trout Anglers National Instructors
Certificate) and the prestigious APGAI (Advanced
Professional Game Angling Instructor) certificates.

Today 25th February 2007 I was up at Carman Fishery teaching Alan Hendry from Inveraray to Single haul, which he was managing quite proficiently. After the lesson 2 of my former pupils Sheena & her son Douglas from Cardross came round grinning like two Cheshire cats! Sheena had caught her first fish on the fly - a beautiful Rainbow of just over 3lbs. Young Douglas however, had a lovely 3lb 12oz and a whopper of - 7lb 2oz!!! - boy was he pleased with himself!
